Joshua Bailey is Kanien'kená꞉ka (Mohawk) from Ohsweken, Ontario and currently resides in British Columbia. With over a decade of experience in Indigenous child welfare, health, wellness and management he  leads A:kweks Ventures with a cultural, relational and growth mindset.

Joshua is highly educated with two bachelor degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Thompson Rivers University. Throughout his career, Joshua has worked in a variety of roles from youth and family support services at non-profit societies to team leader positions with delegated Aboriginal agencies, and project management leadership within Indigenous health agencies. He prides himself on transparent and relational practices that focus on strength and asset based sustainable programing. Joshua's experience has allowed him to gain expertise in child welfare prevention services, Indigenous child welfare court processes, and Indigenous health and wellness management at community, family and individual levels.  

Tiffany Bailey (nee Mackey) originates from Newfoundland and has lived in various provinces and in the United States, eventually returning to British Columbia in 2012. Although she is non-Indigenous, Tiffany is married into an Indigenous family from Ohsweken, Ontario and embraces how culture impacts all aspects of community. With over a decade of experience in BC Indigenous child welfare, combined with child welfare leadership, practice development and health and wellness analysis, Tiffany has acted as an advocate for the health and wellbeing of Indigenous individuals, families and communities. Graduating from the University of Fraser Valley in 2016 with a Master of Social Work, Tiffany has been able to develop her skills and experience in child welfare leadership as well as health emergency management. With the experiences she has obtained throughout her career, Tiffany strongly believes that programs, policies and practices must be driven and based on each individual First Nation community’s needs and traditions.
